Born in Legendary Agra Gharana. The famous house of Indian Classical Music. He is the eldest son of

Ustad Gulam Rasool Khan. He received his initial music training from his father. Later a rich and regerous training was extended to him by                         of Agra gharana. Ustad Vilayat Hussain Khan. His younger brother Ustad Nanhe Khan, Ustad Faiyaz Hussain Khan and Ustad Khadim Hussain Khan.

Since 1940 for nearly 22 years he spread music of Agra gharana of music lovers of Bombay. During his brief stay he performed on various platforms and on AIR. He migrated to Ahmedabad in 1962. Since then he has performed regularly from 1962. Since then he has performed regularly in and around Gujarat on various stages and on AIR Ahmedabad. He was actively serving music by distributing his musical wisdom to a countless shishyas. Also he had been attached to Institution like “Saptak” and “Kadam”.

Purity of Raga, Laykari, Bolbaant and Vistar is specialty of Ustad Ghulam Ahmedabad Khan.
